Review: Ca Del Roro Prosecco DOC Extra Dry

Ca Del Roro Prosecco loves the Royals

Are you looking for a bubbly to celebrate the Royal nuptials but on a budget? Proseccos are a cheap and cheerful Italian alternative to Champagnes so you can still enjoy the classiness of drinking bubbles on the big day.  This Ca Del Roro Prosecco might just do the trick!

It has a strong yellow hue, lightly fragranced and we tasted hints of passionfruit – very summery. We could really taste the full flavour of the grapes with this one, and this was very dry (as outlined in it’s name).  Compared to another Prosecco we’d tried there was definitely more colour and the bubbles were bigger.

According to the Wineaux site, this is an easy drinking and immediately satisfying, this is a Prosecco for any occasion and meant to be drunk often. Zippy, vibrant, pear and green apple fruit are delivered on soft, tantalising bubbles.  Sounds good enough for a future Princess (or Queen for that matter!).

While one of us loved it, the other was not so impressed.  Perhaps you need to try this one for yourself…

RRP at a very reasonable £8.79 and available from Wineaux
